Leaders of some youth groups under Bangwe Interdenominational Youth Organisation (BIY) were last Saturday drilled in leadership skills at Bangwe Living Waters Church.
Speaking at the function, one of the facilitators of the training, Steve Kaliwo urged the youth leaders to do what God wants at all times.

“Let God take charge. You are leaders not rulers,” said Kaliwo.
Another facilitator, bishop Ephraim Mbale of Bangwe Living Waters Church said good character, knowledge and skill make a brilliant leader.
Said Mbale: “You are serving God and for effective discharge of your duties embrace good relationship with people. You have to see the motive, not only acts. Be equipped with what your position demands. Knowledge is power and I ask you to go beyond Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).”
BIY official, Madalitso Zomba, said the organisation is there to empower youths physically and spiritually.
Participants to the training were chairpersons, secretaries and treasures from 12 churches in Bangwe area. n
